Bottle shared in MV. Pours mostly clear dull red with a small, fizzy white head. Nice tart raspberries in he nose, a little wood, soft funk. Light-medium sweet flavour with mild acidity, some lemon, more tart raspberry, light seedy bitterness. Wmisum bodied with spritzy carbonation. Finishes with mellow dryness, modest boozy warmth, some ripening raspberry, more seeds, very slight vanilla. Fun stuff.

C&C 375 mL bottle. Hazy red, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of yeast, tart jammy raspberries, oak. The taste is tart raspberries and oak. Medium bodied, lingering tartness. Typing up this rating six days after the fact is sending my salivary glands aflame. God damn this was good.

Thanks to Willrunforbeer on this 375 ml bottle. Bottled in June 2015. Color shows a deep dirty Amber color with some light foam. Aroma is tart cherries, raspberry juice and mild oak.

The flavor is exactly as or smells with a slightly astringent oak aftertaste. Tang and tart, not so much sour in regard to pucker. Body is medium with a soft carbonation level. It’s ok.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy dark red to brown color with a one finger white to off white foamy head. The head dissipated with the balance of the beer and no lacing was found.
The smell starts off with a tart raspberry leading into a sour edge spruced up by a subtle herbal to woodiness.
The taste was mainly sour through the raspberry. Expected sour slides into a fully woodiness and bringing about a nice dry dark breadiness into the balance of it all.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with the dry woodiness to really cling to my tongue, so I don’t find this that sessionable.
Overall, so sip this and enjoy as it’s a good wild ale that I could have again.

Bottle from the Brewery. Slightly hazy reddish amber color with a good sized but quickly dissipating off white head. Solid raspberry, a hint of balsamic, some light lactic and earthy notes and a touch of wood tannin. Pretty good wild ale.
