A pale blonde colour and fine creamy-white head which clings to the glass.
The aroma is very balanced with a fruity, flowery background and an initial Chardonnay impression which evolves into a spicy, mild aroma of hops. A pleasant sparkling carbonate content produces a soft, full taste perception. The taste is very full-bodied and is balanced with fruity tones of apple and Chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mild bitterness in its aftertaste and a splendid, round feel in the mouth which evolves well.

Special beer brewed once a year to mark International Women's Day.

Huge, very fine & dense, just yellowish tinted head, over very lively carbonated clear golden beer. Alcohol (surprise, surprise), bit herbal, going towards grassy, white candi sugar suggested all the way. Raw alcohol, Huyghe yeast, toasted malts, scorched sugar. Sweet with bitterness exclusively from the scorching. (Mild) alcoholburn, very sprizy, maybe medium bodied. I’m thinking of folk songs... along the line of "Maidens led astray" or simply "Deluded women"... Is there really no variation possible on the main Huyghe theme?

;) --- Beer merged from original tick of Deliria on 15 May 2018 at 21:35 - Score: 6

Draft @ Delirium.

Sampled draft @ Delirium. Very pale golden, little white head. Smells of sweet grains, light white sugar, fizzy & faint smell. Taste is sweet, light white sugar with a heavy metallic taste, thick cornflakes, very faint picle juice & touch toffee, even more bitter metal in the finish. Light. Nasty, don’t like this but I must admit that it hides the 8.5 % ABV very well so I am certain that there is a big market for this. (Thx! for sharing people!)

14/IX/13 - on tap @ Delirium café (Brussels) - BB: n/a (2013-848)

Clear pale yellow beer, big aery white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty spicy, some citrus, hay, grassy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: grains, bit fruity, metallic, pretty bitter, grassy, citrus peel. Aftertaste: little bitter, metallic, some citrus, corn flakes. Meh, it's better than a sweet fruit beer, that's a fact.
