Bottle. Aroma is cinnamon, mild yeast. Appearance is very pale hazy yellow with minimal white ring of a head but nice sparkle. Taste is cinnamon and mild sweet. Palate is light to medium bodied with thin texture, average carbonation, with mild sweet finish. Overall, a great sounding idea that isn’t really an interesting horchata and isn’t an interesting beer.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is some sour lemon juice with cinnamon. Flavor is sweetness, some peppery spice and cinnamon. This was pretty weird. None of these flavors should be put together and yet here they are. Good enough to sample I guess.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s in a mixer sixer. LeninCat just dropped a 1/5 on this beer, so I’m a bit worried. Pours a bit hazy dull yellow appearance with a big white head. Lemon zest, toasted malt, light corn, tangerine in the nose - no hint of the cinnamon. High carbonation. Flavor tastes like a cinnamon bun. Doughy and spicy (cinnamon and nutmeg) flavor. A bit on the sweet side but still kind of refreshing. It’s kind of an interesting idea but I doubt I would drink this again.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a light golden hue with a medium white head. A light spicy nose. The flavor works well, big cinnamon, nutty, sweet toasted malts. Light chocolates. A bit heavy on the spice, but not overly so and it showcases the flavor a good bit. Solid.

Bottle: Clear golden orange color with a large sized creamy white head. Smells distinctly cinnamon, but without the edges. It’s soft and sweet, very pastry like. Tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch... I can’t get past that. I think the level of flavor intensity is dialed in correctly here, it tastes fairly good and was easy to drink. Middle weight, but creamy. Different. If this is what they were going for, they nailed it. Fun to try, probably the most interesting Blue Moon I’ve tried so far.

12oz bottle. Slightly hazy orange tan body. Medium bodied, pleasant Cinnamon vanilla flavors. Sweet, easy going...not overbearing. Not off, not bad.

From a bottle, perhaps a slight aroma of cinnamon. Cloudy like a beldgy but not quite white. Decent cutting co2, feels good on the palate. Taste certainly is cinny and it does add a winter aspect to it. Perhaps just a little too much but not bad. Just slightly out of balance. Does hide alky fairly well although there is a slight medicinal feel to it on the finish. Not over the top like so many other cinnamon or spiced beers. From the name i was expecting something with heat, but there is none. Perhaps I confused horchada with soratcha, go figger.

Pours from a bottle a dark straw with a thin white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is a slight apple, with some cinnamon. Flavor is a stronger cinnamon, with a faint hint of nuttiness.Soda-like effervescence. Sweetness lingers.

12 oz bottle. Aroma consists of cinnamon, apple. Hazy orange-yellow with paticulates floating around under an off-white collapsing head. Taste is similar to the aroma, but it’s combined with that distinctive somewhat cheap grainy taste that all Blue Moon beers have. Wheat adds creaminess. Tasty, for sure.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a large foamy white head. Average head retention. Aroma of wheat, citrus, cinnamon toast crunch cereal. The taste is the same cereal note, wheat, mild bit of citrus and apple. Thin-medium bodied. Not bad.
