Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, pale gold with a half finger of white head. Aroma is mostly cinnamon, some grains and light spiced apples. Pretty much smells like rumchata liqueur with cereal grains. Taste follows aroma. Light sweet, mostly cinnamon. Light bodied with an oddly grainy texture. Lively carbonation and a surprisingly long finish. Pretty cool, probably one of the better blue moon brands I’ve tried.

12oz bottle. Poured a hazy orange color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma was notes of cinnamon and apple. Interesting aroma. Flavor was... pretty bland. It was like drinking a regular Blue Moon with some light notes of cinnamon and apples. Nothing offensive here.

Pours light gold into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Cinnamon aromas. Light with stale, dry cinnamon front to back and through the sweet, lasting finish. Tasted better when I didn’t think about it....

Bottle. Cinnamon and milky barley malt aroma. Bright yellow with small head. Sweet cinnamon and creamy malt flavor. Not too bad - don’t know who came up with the idea to make a Horchata beer though - points for originality.

Part of their Brewmaster’s Seasonal Sampler on my trip to Maine. Pours a hazy yellow-golden colour with a foamy white head and a little lace. Fresh grounded cinnamon aromas. You can taste the cinnamon but it is well-balanced by the rice from Horchata drink. Quite a nicely brewed interesting spiced ale.

Random bottle from the singles bin at the corner liquor store - pours a hazy gold - nose is cinnamon, apple cider, tangy wheat - moderate carbonation - light body - flavor is cinnamon and vanilla cream, but the sweetness is actually lower than expected, with some tangy acidity and a touch of bitterness - finish of lightly spicy cinnamon and wheat - a lot more subtle and pleasant than I thought it was going to be.
