Sampled at the DC Local Tasting a 750ml bottle pours a translucent cola brown with some wispy off white head. Nose is sweet, pitted fruit, some light spice, yeasty esters, a little banana. Flavor is sweet, lots of dark candfy sugar, a little smoke, almost like the candy sugar burnt in the bottom of the kettle, dates, malty, some light cola. Full bodied, sweet finish. Well balanced.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Cloudy amber, no head. Salty orange aroma. Sweet with dried apricots,m caramel and mustard seeds. Medium-full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Slight spicy bitterness in a mildly warming finish.

Bottle at Per’s, apparently a dorata with wheat flakes and sugar, not cannella and fiori d’arancio. So noone knows what this is, but I’m putting it here, as the others seem to have rated it. Golden-amber body, no head. Malty, strong nose, orange, sticky but not too sticky. Creamy until alcohol and herbal notes kick in. Remarkably light taste at the beginning, malt driven, but you get to see its strength in the end, late apricot, honeyish, bw-like. Not too complex really, warming, drinkable.
