A pale, sour fruit ale. All of the sourness in this beer is derived from the rasping acidity of the wonderful Gooseberry fruit. Super refreshing.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Padraig. Light haze on this pale gold beer, tidy bubbly white head. Nose of gooseberry and elderflower. Palate is light and dry, decent fine carbonation. Taste follows the nose, tart and slightly bitter gooseberry, Little elderflower, Mild spice. Light semi dry and bitterish finish. Nice.

On tap at Kick. It’s an unclear orange colored beer with a small light beige head. Lots of generic fruityness and gooseberry on the nose, not much else going on but it’s sure fine. A hint of pale malts on the palate, it’s dry and medium bodied, almost tart, with a nice carbonation. Pine cone notes, resin hints and gooseberries in the flavor. Lasting finish. Refreshing and tasteful indeed. 160521

(Keg at William K. Kurvi, 20160511) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, tartness and berries. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, berries, berry peels, sourness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart and bitter. A decent tart brew but the drinkability was not good enough.
