Big ol bottle. Deep brown mahogany pour. Smells of sour cream and cake. Malty sour taste. Pleasant really.

Very mellow sour. Like liquorise with weed. I am not good at description.

750ml bottle, purchased over a year ago from Beer Run. Poured a very dark ruby-brown color with a small white head. Aroma was some nutty, light fruity tartness. Pleasant light-tartness, very mild toasted notes. A little bit of a nutty Brown ale kind of character. Alcohol pretty well hidden.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown black with light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt. Taste is a nice mix of roasted malts and chocolate light twist of sour tanginess.

750 ml bottle. Pours a very dark red with moderate head. Aromas of chocolate syrup, soy sauce and light balsamic vinegar. Flavors of dark chocolate on ginger, somewhat tangy dark fruit and dry roasted malts. A little creamy to start and dry to end. Very light souring which is just right for the stout base. Interesting.

On tap at the Happy Raven Lincoln. Pours a fairly clear, reddish brown appearance with a thin tan head. Aroma has grape jolly rancher, green apple, pie crust, and light vinegar. Muddled flavor. Caramel, grape juice, and plums. Lightly tart. Not very good.

Draught @ Stag’s Head. Dark brown with reddish tint, creamy small beige head, fruity aroma, medium carbonation, sweet fruity taste with roasted malt and sour cherry flavor, thin body, long sour cherry finish with roasted malt aftertaste. A very strange beer, I was not sure whether I liked or not.

Keg at Beer Run. Hazy dark red, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, cherries, wood, mild funk. The taste is cherries, dark fruit, wood. Mildly medicinal. Medium bodied, mild lingering tartness, low carbonation.

750 mL bottle, shared by Tcon. Thanks! Poured at a tasting. From notes. Caramel brown pour with an active bubble head. Cherry, red fruit aroma. Thick body. Nice cherry flavor mixed with the soft cocoa background. Very unique beer, and love the idea of some of these blends. Awesome.
