Appearance
Golden-straw haze with a dense, glowing body. A soft, clouded opacity with a persistent, satin-white head that clings gently to the glass.
Aroma
Sweet pineapple leading the charge, layered with floral high notes and bright flashes of citrus peel. Underneath, an intense, ripe mango character folds in, giving the nose a deep tropical richness.
Flavour
Juicy waves of pineapple and mango upfront, rounded by pulpy orange and a subtle floral lift. El Dorado brings in candied pear and stonefruit sweetness, while BRU1 pushes that pineapple note into sharper focus. Citra ties everything together with round mango and grapefruit edges.
Mouthfeel
Supple and silky, with a satin-like weight from the wheat and flaked oats. Soft carbonation supporting a pillowy, almost creamy texture that stays bright and drinkable.
Finish
Delicate and smooth, fading out on sweet tropical fruit with a lingering twist of citrus zest. Balanced and clean, leaving a gentle pull for another sip.
Malt: Heidelberg Pils, Wheat malt, Flaked Oats, Carapils, Chit Malt
Whirlpool Hop: El Dorado
Dry Hop: Elani, El Dorado & Strata
EBC: 7
IBU: 14
ABV: 6.8%
Allergens: Cereals containing gluten
Size: 440ml.

Canned 440ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb, shared with Marko. Murky yellow coloured, medium sized white head, caramel and light oaty nose. Herbal, caramel, oaty, light grassy and mild oxidation with dry bitterish finish. Seems not so fresh.

Can at Ambasada with Ogi. Misty yellow-golden body, off-white head. Citric, bit papery and oaty aroma. Stale taste, dried stone fruit, bitterish herbal finish... slgihtly juicy but very much feels old. Fresh import, beer likely from November... :sigh:

44cl Blik van De Bierkoning. Troebele, diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Medium zoet, tropisch, citrus, steenvruchten, licht netelig, degelijke bittere finish. Lichte tot medium body. Prima, zei het een tikje generiek.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a very light haze on this gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head but, it doesn't hang around. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a fairly forward creamy sweetness. Light soft cooling pine. Decent citrus, semi ripe. Mild candy fruits before a semi dry finish. Tidy. Nothing to get excited about.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 23/11/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a lasting white head.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine nip, melon, mandarin, light breads, light astringent bitterness, herb,
Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, pine needle, grass, melon, soft malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close splashed with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Okay IPA but Whiplash are not on the money for me the past 4 or 5 beers I've head compared to what they are capable of.
