A golden-to-copper colored pale ale delivering a medium malt profile and a hop forward personality. Citrus, herbal and floral aromas take over after the initial malt flavor dissipates. Leaves a crisp finish.

Keg at CASC. It pours hazy orange with a decent white head. The nose is big, juicy, tangerine, mango, toasty grass, floral and brioche. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, straw, pepper, earth, citrus rind and floral with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable. Solid gear.

330ml bottle @Mad For Beer (Rome). Clear pale golden with a medium white foam. Aroma is pungent and powerful citrus, floral and a bit spicy, pine. Taste is medium bitter, quite balanced, dry and well drinkable, clean end, fresh, very well brewed. Light body, medium carbonation. A perfect american session pale ale!

On tap at Fermentoren, Aarhus. An off-white head sits on top of an unclear dark amber body. The aroma has a roasted, toasted maltyness, crystal malts and then the pine cones and resins from the hops show up. It has a nice bitterness on a solid malty backdrop, with roasted notes. Resiny, piney hops. Dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. A nice one indeed, especially like the roasted touch in this one. 140804

Sample on tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger. 4.7% APA. Amber colour. Woody notes in the aroma, some piney hops. Fairly well balanced flavour, piney and grapefruity hops. Note: Also sampled on tap at the brewery, RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. Hoppy, well balanced. Upping the overall 1 point.
