Roast and some caramel. Dark mahogany without much head. Decent balance. Finish is fairly sweet. Tap at the guild.

Minimal head and nearly black body with some ruby highlights. Aroma of burnt barley with hints of coffee. Flavour is strong molasses with hints of coffee; overbearing and syrupy mouthfeel. Sugary esters all over. This is unbalanced and too sweet, no finesse to the equation.

Bomber brought to the family Christmas Eve gathering by my son. Nose is creamed coffee, milk chocolate, and roast. Black with a medium lightly lacing cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet and chocolaty with white peppery and very light bitterness.

650ml bottle. Pours a clear, dark brown with a large, foamy, long lasting, tan head that laces nicely. Strong aroma of espresso with dark chocolate and roasted malt. Sweet flavour of dark chocolate and roasted malt with a bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth, creamy, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours clear black, medium off white head, some lacing. Aroma is coffee, mocha, licorice, roasty malt, touch of coca cola. Flavor is light sweet and light plus bitter, definite macchiato notes, heavy roast but surprisingly low acidity. Medium body, lingering bitter finish.

Draft: Charred oak and coffee nose. Mahogany, headless. Coffee, mildly sweet. Raisin finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Given the name, I was expecting this to be an IDA, but there’s no mistaking that this is a coffee cream stout, and a good one.

22 oz. bottle. It pours a dark almond brown color with a thin khaki head. The aroma is very roasted with coffee, toast, almond milk and lactose. Little bit of oreo cookie. The flavor is thick and creamy. Lots of sweet coffee that’s balanced nicely with strong roast in the finish. Heavy lactose sugar with coffee, toasted bread and light nuttiness that may come from the coffee. Really tasty.
