500ml bottle. Opalescent, dark chesnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, super dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, pale sulphureous head. Slightly toasty, grainy, minimally nutty, malty and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of Brazil nut, spelt. Taste is minimally toasty and nutty, caramel malty and mildly bitter, resinous and piney hoppy, some caramel, pine, a touch of chestnut, red berries.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well crafted, clean, relatively light, not overly Bock-ish - quite nice.

"Hiddenseer Winterbock", Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, 6.1.2026. - Dunkles Kastanienrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase kerniges, zart schokoladiges dunkles Malz mit einem Hauch von Torf und solider hopfenwürziger Hintergrundherbe. - Antrunk satt und kernig dunkelmalzig mit beträchtlicher Röstaromatik, schwarze Brotkruste, nur dezente Karamelsüße, ein Hauch von dunkler Frucht mit zarter Säure, Anklänge an Torf und Rauch; dazu bocktypisch mildere aber aromatische hopfenwürzige Herbe. Perfekt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang leicht trockene malzige und Hopfenbittere. - Für einen norddeutschen Bock ganz prima - aber an einen fränkisch-tiefgründigen Bock mit kompromißlos bissiger Hopfung wie den vom Wagner in Merkendorf reicht er nicht heran, trotz "Tennenmalz" und "offener Gärung an Seeluft" (hoffentlich hat keine Möwe hineingeschissen ...).

Bottle. Dark chestnut, red shine, medium full juicy, sparkly, malt, berry, fruit, roast, light caramel, chocolate, good balance.

Bottle. Dark brown. Malt caramel, maple syrup. Sweet, oily something. Allrigthish; at least not boozy.

Kolor kasztanowy, klarowny. Piana barwy ecru, bardzo wysoka, trwała, delikatnie maluje na szkle.
Aromat intensywnie słodowy, zbożowy, ziemisty, trawiasty, przyprawowy, karmelowy z, ale i owocowy (głównie ciemne owoce).
Smak lekko słodki, skontrowany przyjemną, trawiastą goryczką.
Wysycenie średnie. Tekstura gładka, miękka, "śliska". Ciało pełne. Posmak średnio długi wytrawny, przyprawowy, trawiasty, ziemisty.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fine roasty malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, woody notes. Fruity hints of plum, some raisins. Mild bitter background. Finish well balanced, not too alcoholic. Nice one!

A clear reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of strong grainy malt, cereals, caramel. Taste of strong caramelized malt, nuts, grains, spicy bitterness.

Dunkel malziger Beginn, süßlich, eher mild. Leichte Herbe, die Süße steigt etwas an, spritzig, leicht röstig. Einfach, rund, gelungen. 10/9/10/9/11/9
