Cask at Admiral Benbow with minuemat and Blackhaddock, pleasure drinking with you, gentlemen! Sweet, malty, lightly aromatic. Decent stuff.

5th Oct 2015: hand-pulled half-pint shared with a certain Traveller known as Gene, our last beer together on his ’do Shropshire in a day’ visit. Good looking beer, amber coloured with a full white crown. Malts lead the way in both the nose and taste, caramel esters rule the aroma and malty molasses dominate the flavour, mild fruitiness within the brew but mostly malts. My sweet tooth liked it.

Cask @ Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury in the company of Travlr & haddock. Pours a deep clear amber with good foamy head. Malt-forward with a prominent hop fruitiness. A little more going on than the average BBB.
