Bottle at Shrewsbury tasting Oct 5 courtesy of minutemat, thanks! Murky to cloudy amber color, thin tan head. Aroma of port wine and boiled vegetables. Taste is burnt port wine. Hmmm...

500ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Travlr edition, Oct 15, courtesy of myself, bought in Stori Beer & Wine, Bala. Pours murky brown with bubbly head. Some unfortunate off-flavours, mouldy pine and lemon perhaps with an unwelcome earthy bitter edge. Not sure this was the intended result.

500ml bottle shared at a Shrewsbury bottle exchange group meeting with Gene as a guest on 5th Oct 2015. Poured a murky brown with a beige head. The Vinegar Fly might have got into the bottle because this had a strange aroma and taste, herbal, earthy and liquorice with malty overtones, sweet and sour at the same time and just plain weird all round. No idea how to score this: no one (six of us) actually liked it, but it was different and almost interesting, so I am being kind with my scores.

Cask at the Craven Arms; clear coca cola brown pour with a frothy light tan head, sweet malt and toffee aroma, taste had liquorice and dark fruits, some roast malt, ok.
