Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Dark straw with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma, predominantly pineapple; rich tropical fruit taste, with a fuzzy grapefruit bitterness; and a crisp finish.

Tap East Collaboration Fest. Cask. Cloudy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light malt base. Grassy bitter hops. Light lemon and orange pith and a trace of tropical fruits. Light dry finish brings mild hop spice. Grassy bitter linger. Nice.

Gravity dispense at Tap East Open Brewhouse Festival, 22/08/14. Hazed golden orange with a moderate off white swirl, quite a bit of carbonation evident. Nose is bitter orange, earthy hops, light spice, straw, citric peel. Taste comprises bitter orange, light pine, peppery hop, chalky minerals. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness and a pinch of spice. Adequate APA but a fair way off being one I’d choose to revisit!

Gravity cask at the Tap East Open Brewhouse Fest 2014 - London. Pours unclear gold with a frothy white head. The nose has dry smoke, pithy tangerine, sand. Light sweet flavor with dry pale malts, faint smoke, lots of pith, grains. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish with pale smoke, dry lemon, pale bread, pine needles. Pretty tasty though the off smoke note gets in the way.
