Minnesota Beer Trip #200! 12 ounce bottle thanks to jackl, 5/12/16. Hazy orange with fine floating particles. Aroma of lemony hops and pale malt. The taste is pine, tropical fruit, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Bottle. A- Oranges, citrus, tropical fruits, pine, resin. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Pine, herbal bitter, citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, juicy bitter finish. O- Pretty solid! My first experience with Columbus hops that I am aware of and I enjoyed them. As it warmed, the finish did get a bit pungent with the bitterness and not at the same level as Golden Nugget or pseudoSue but still a good IPA by TG.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A light lemon zest nose. The flavor is oranges, sweet but mostly bitter lemons, biscuit. Solid. Light overall, green hops. Drinkability is high.

12 oz bottle purchased at the Hy Vee near Drake in Des Moines, Iowa. 26 AUG 15 stamped on the bottle neck. The pour is a mostly clear golden yellow copper with a well formed 1 inch white head. Head is lasting, falls with nice lace. The aroma is fresh citrus hop, resin mineral and some cracker malt. The taste is clean hop flavors of the fresh citrus, resin dank, decent balance with the cracker malt. Mineral appears in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and the mineral softly bitter finish. Solid IPA.

Bottle thanks to Jackl. It pours clear deep copper with a decent white head. The fresh, clean, bitter - sweet, piney, varnish, stewed orange and peach. The taste is firmly bitter, pine needles, varnish, caramel, peppery, resin, peachy, orange with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. More malty than I expected. Fine, but not quite as good as others from these guys.

Pours a clear, golden yellow, with rather thin head. Aroma is very floral, with some spice and fruit (earthy is a good description, but didn’t want to just lift that from the company description!). Flavor is dry and bitter, with quite a bit of bitter lemon/grapefruit, as well as some biscuit and grassiness. Good IPA.
