Hazy, deep copper and bronze coloured body with a bright amber and orange glow and a thin, off-white head, less than a centimetre tall. Aroma of grass, cucumbers, hay, yeast, light citrus but tons more cucumber! Light-bodied; Super sweet, incredibly pungent fructose and honey flavours at first with tons more cucumber and a dash of floral notes, but ending with pure sugar and cucumbers - very cloying. Aftertaste shows basically nothing else than cucumber and pure sugar - this tastes like a cucumber soda. No alcohol, no depth, no complexity, mo malt - this is just pure, easy-drinking, yet incredibly funky cucumber plus a ton of sugars. Overall, I was looking forward to sample this, and wanted to try to find this one, but have regretted it since the first sip. Perahps one of the worst beers I had in all of 2019! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Pentagon Row (Arlington), Virginia on 08-July-2019 for US$1,87 sampled just exactly a week later at home in Washington on 15-July-2019.

Pours amber with a fluffy white head and massive levels of fine carbonation. Aroma of cucumber with refreshing mint notes. Taste has huge and overpoweringly sweet cucumber notes, hints of lime. Palate has minty finish on the tongue. Weird.

This brew is a clear pale yellow color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Citrus, yeast and mint aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of tart lime, yeast and subtle mint and cucumber. The finish is fruity with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/20/2016. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big cucumber, lemon, lime, mint, wheat, white bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of fruit/mint and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big cucumber, lemon, lime, mint, wheat, white bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of cucumber, lemon, lime, mint, wheat, white bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and balance of fruit/mint and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, clean, lightly grainy, and slightly syrupy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3%. Overall this is an awesome radler! All around great robustness and balance of fruit/mint and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. There is a lot of lime flavor to balance the cucumber presence; so it doesn’t feel too weird as it usually is for me. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle. A- Cucumber, lime, subtle mint. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white fizzy head. T- Cucumber, lime, mint. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish. O- This beer is all that it says it is and nothing else. Loads of cucumber, plenty of lime, and some subtle mint. All done very well and balanced. Very refreshing. This is one that you probably either love or hate. I loved it and want a whole lot for my summer thirst quencher. Definitely going to be one of my guilty pleasures. Hope it becomes more regular.

Draft sample. Clear pale yellow color, white coca cola head. Aroma of salad, mint. Taste is refreshing and lightly fruity, crisp beery finish. A creative spin on the style.

Enjoyed on tap at Pitchfork Fest in Chicago, IL after being destroyed by an epic rainstorm while marching through mud fields in Union Park. I’m going to jump on the bandwagon and say that this was fantastic. It’s like drinking minty refreshing water with the underlying crispness of 312. I’m going to be seeking this one out for sure, hope they bottle it shortly.
