For the 12th anniversary of Jakehead, we’re proud to introduce a brand-new spin on the Wylam classic... JAKEHEAD DIPA, coming in at a chilling 8.3%. As full-bodied and (nearly) as powerful as the Imperial, yet as quaffable as the OG, this DIPA brings the best of both worlds together.
Silky-smooth and intensely aromatic, it’s supercharged with Citra, Chinook, and Simcoe dry hops, delivering vibrant tropical fruit and citrus notes balanced by a rich malt backbone. Its iconic orange-hue shines bright, instantly recognisable as part of the Jakehead gang.

440 ml can, as Wylam Jakehead DIPA, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 8.3%. Hazy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of various citrus fruits, including bitter Seville oranges, tangerine and grapefruit. Hints of orange marmalade, apricot and pine needles. The flavour has the same elements, low bitterness, very drinkable.

Keg at The Antelope, Godalming. Hazy-opaque amber. Thin foamy white head. Aroma is floral and resinous. Flavourwise it has a sugary sweetness over resinous bitterness. Underlying chewy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Yeah.

Очень достойная дабл ипа, все в балансе, есть нотки леса и травки свежей, немного цедры. Хорошо.

440ml can. Murky orange with a white head. Aroma of ripe mango, grapefruit, orange. Taste of sweet malts, ripe mango, grapefruit, orange, slightly dank and herbal, a touch savoury, piney bitterness. Medium bodied. Excellent DIPA, a bit old school leaning but with the juiciness of a modern hazy DIPA.
