A smooth yet ever so decadent Chocolate Fudge Cake Imperial Stout. Rich chocolate ganache and cocoa dusted chocolate cake flavours take centre stage, with bitter dark chocolate notes provided with a blend of dark and roasted malts.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear dark brown beer, no real head to speak of, just a few tiny tan bubbles clinging to the rim of the glass. Light smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Smooth and slightly candyish chocolate malts, a little malt cream and a spot of ice cream van chocolate syrup. A light and fairly floral chocolate on the back end. Okay in small quantities but, this would get chewy very quickly. It's also somewhat one note and a little obvious.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 05/01/2026.
Feel like I'm coming down with a cold ... see if I can get some boost protection!
Pitch black topped with a khaki head that thins to a handsome swirl.
Nose is dark malts, chocolate icing, toffee fudge, molasses.
Taste comprises chocolate, cake mix, tangy fruit esters, mellow roast, molasses, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow rising boost.
Decent enough sipper but perhaps a little disjointed and overly tangy in places.

Can. Color Black, creamy brown head. Aroma: Chocolate, Nutella, some roasted malt. Taste: Creamy mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, nutella chocolate / hazelnut, some roasted malt. Sweetish. Malty. Over medium body, just below average carbonation. Over medium sweet, light bitterness. Too pastry for me, personally.
