A beer style that throws back to earlier days of UK craft beer gets a 2025 update. This Black IPA is far from just a dark beer that tastes pale, it's a happy marriage of smooth, roasty sweetness and luponic elegance. Dry hopped with a fair whack of Nelson Sauvin, Comet and Nectaron, we get pineapple, passionfruit, gooseberry, grapefruit, grass and pine mingling in with the maltiness.

Pours deepest brown with beige to tan foam. Aroma: some roast, cocoa, citrus rind, grass. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, earthy, burnt roast, mild liquorice, pine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Crackin'

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 01/02/2026.
Light black topped with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is light roast, dried fruit rinds, cola cubes, pine nip, charr.
Taste comprises earthy roast, pine needle, charr, bitter hops, perfume.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close punctured with earthy hop bitterness.
Solid CDA.

Can at home, 3rd January 2026. Pours black, very black. Aroma is aromatic, cocoa and citrus. Taste is roasted malts, cocoa, citrus notes and bitter - very smooth

440ml can. Pours a very dark brown with a big beige head. Aroma of chocolate and roast malts, piney hops, citrus peel. Taste of chocolate and roast malts, hops are citrusy, peachy, piney, a hint of white wine in the background, good bitterness. Medium bodied. Solid BIPA, Track should brew more of these.
