Can from a sixer from the local Sprouts. Pours clear bright gold with a transient white head. Grapefruit pith starts the aroma. Med plus body. Dry and pretty bitter. Pale malt support oerwhelmed by grapefruit pith. HInts of lemon and pale stone fruit. Excellent.

Very dry, crisp IPA, much in the Maine Lunch vein, with a quick pop of grapefruit pith, tropical fruit, and a touch of peach, followed by grass, a touch of grainy sweetness, and a mild piney bitterness on the finish. Very nice pint.

hmm, a rare swing and miss from Sierra Nevada. Seemed OK at first, a very pale yellowish color, bright hop nose, plenty of citrus and lightly floral. Very dry and attenuated here, malts are almost not there at all, just a light breadiness, dry finish. What doesn't work then is the strong bittering hop presence, which is at the levels you might want for a less attenuated standard IPA. The bitterness overwhelms, and its citrus and floral elements shift to a soapiness that really isn't working at all. It feels ultimately like a flawed recipe.

3 week old can
A: Tall frothy head atop a clear hay yellow body. End of glass retention and thick patches of lace.
S: Very floral with hints of citrus, honeysuckle and bread dough.
T: Moderately bitter with pronounced lemon pulp and citrus pith. Light pine and woody notes at the end.
M: Light body, average carbonation and lightly resinous finish.
O: Simple but lovely! I'll be stocking up on this one while it's around.
