This is the 39th version (we think!) of the acclaimed single hop series that started in 2021. Pink is a direct descendant of Idaho 7, so expect citrus and stone fruit aromas, with sweet red berry and pine on the palate, all rounded out with a heavy oat addition for the signature body and texture of Lupulus X.

Can. Near clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Thin bodied pale malts, a very modest sweetness, mild cask style grain. Light and mildly crisp cooling pine. Pink hops honey and apples and pears fruits. Pinch of hop spice. Light crisp finish. Slightly frustrating. I think Buxton have caught the essence of this unique hop very well and, a massive doff of the hat for recognising this hop and offering it up a single hop affair. However, the rest of the single hop showcase is a bit of a let down, over thin and a tad too dry. A real mixed bag, splendid single hop showcasing but the backdrop is meh.
