LSAT Freedom Trip #193. Keg at the Kennett Square location. Hazy golden, thin frothy white head, fair retention. Aroma of bready malts and herbal hops. The taste is strong herbal, grassy hops, pale malt and a fruity finish. Medium bodied.

Draught at Lord Hobo, 9/1/15.
Lightly hazy, peachy-gold liquid topped by a small but fairly stable white head.
Peachy-melon nose is a bit odd, backed by earthiness, damp grains, some dry hay and a bit of floral hops...hmmm, certainly not what I was expecting...The fruitiness is pretty toned down and really does live up to the melon descriptors in the commercial description. I guess they are doing what they intended, at least...no alcohol or flaws, clean, if a bit homebrewish...
Softly sweet, with very light pepper, some grassy hops and a touch of vanilla-like sweetness....Very soft carbonation, almost fuzzy-like but not quite grainy. Peachy-melon continues to form the base flavors, while some honey is noted on the finish. Very odd and yet drinkable, if extremely un-saison-like. More of a Belgian amber/golden hybrid and unfortunately, rather American-like in the ester profile (really just not looking for peach/banana/melon in my saisons, but thanks). Otherwise, fine, and dry, for the most part, but a touch watery/thin at times. Bitterness/spiciness would go along way to adding some levity/crispness here. No alcohol or flaws.

Tap at MacGregors. Grassy, lemony nose, nice. Sweet, fruity flavor, something like strange fruit candy, otherwise crisp and decent.

Sampled at Max’s Rare and Obscure Part 8. Pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Nose has straw and perfume, some candy, lemon, mild resin. Flavor is crisp, mild malt, a little candy and perfume, lemon, straw, mild soap. Crisp finish.
