Fruity in fragrance, this sake has a delightful rich body and smooth taste. This floral, earthy sake can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature and will pair with seafood or fried-tofu dishes. Excellent for pairing with fine Japanese cuisine such as sashimi, tofu dishes, and lightly flavored sauteed poultry, beef and vegetables. Very handy and reclosable, this one cup sake is easy to enjoy at any time or can be also used as cooking sake. Rice type: Gohyakumangoku. Polishing ratio (seimaibuai) (精米歩合): 75%. Cup size: 100ml, 180 ml.

Finally got around to rating this ever-present champion of sakes. 100ml mini cup on the Hankyu train. I am now officially an \"ossan\" for drinking this crap on the train. Nose is caramel, rice, cream, light citrus. Flavor is sweet, somewhat cloying with a bit of alcohol burn. More drinkable than I remembered but utterly without quality.

Drank cold. The liquid is colorless and transparent. The olfactory intensity is normal and lasts sufficiently. The taste on the nose is of fruity banana, floral, banana and spring water. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of thin sake. The aroma on the tongue is slightly dry. The body is medium. The taste intensity is normal, and the taste persistence is sufficient. The final mouth sensations are easy to drink. Hints of melon, fruit, spring water, anise and pepper linger on the tongue.

10cl cup at Mendo, Lyon, France. Pours crystal clear. Aroma is delicate of anise. Body is fairly dense, with a medium alcoholic feeling. Taste has a nice bitterness. Finish is average.

Glass jar bought at a Lawson shop. Clear colour, like water. Aroma has some dried fruits in it but overtaken by alcohol. Flavour is just awful. Of all the good sakes in Japan that can’t be rated because I cannot figure out what the labels say this one I can find and I wish I hadn’t. At least the jar can be used to store pens in, or so the label claims. Stay away from this one.

Cute little $4 thing from Liquor World in Cambridge. Sampled from a Golden Carolus chalice. Not quite clear. Almost has a dirty glass sheen to it.

Caramelized, creamy scent. Slightly sharp with some fruit I can’t pinpoint. Vodka notes are unexpectedly, quite minimal.

Creamy banana, mint, cereal, & aerosol. Slight bitterness at the very tip. Very little, if any burn.

Still uncertain.
