25/9/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear almost colourless, slight yellow tint. Aroma of rice water, melon, chocolate raisin, caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, minimal carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish, with tangy alcohol warmth. Likeable.

300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear with pale yellowy tinge, no head and aroma of rice, fruity, melon. Taste is sweetish, rice, doughy, caramel hint, and fruity, melon, with warm boozy notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry boozy finish. Quite drinkable.

Drank cold (recommended temperature). The taste on the nose as a dominant aroma focuses on rice and as secondary aromas it recognizes melon and fruit. The olfactory intensity is normal, and the olfactory persistence is sufficient. The appearance of the liquid is cloudy. The body is structured, with a creamy structure. The aroma on the tongue is slightly dry. The taste intensity is high, and the taste persistence is good. The taste is very pleasant. The finish is long, clean and complex. The aroma in the mouth brings hints of melon, banana, fruit, pear, green apple and spring water.

Taster. Spicy and light with nice, clean fruit. Pineapple and peaches. Crisp and clean, a bit sweet but a nice, peppery finish. Good.

Much cleaner smell that the Gekkeikan Gold I just had. Clear color. Taste is more ephemeral, lighter alcohol and again a hint of plum flavor.

Bottled. My second sake, if I remember correct. Clear see-through no-coloured and no headed.
Fridge cold (7-8 C). Aroma is alcohol, rice and citrus fruity. Flavour is rice, a bit alcohol, watermelon and some citric hints. The alcohol noteable is quite \"sharpedged\". Dry palate.
Room Temperature (17-18C). Aroma gets a bit \"fuller\" of the same as colder. The main difference is the alcohol which now fits in better both in aroma and flavour. Dry palate.
Warmed up to about 30C. Smooth as whole impression, the alcohol in not as sharpedged anymore, and it somehow feels even more full than the lower temperatures. A bit warm vodkaish, but the fruityness (citrus and watermelon) was a big positive thing compared to Gekkeikan (Laurel Crown) Traditional Light Sake. Quite easy to drink, especially when warmer.
