In der Nase Zitrus, hopfig, harzig. Behäbige Perlung, Schaum passt. Im Trunk sehr angenehm cremig, Zitrus, vielleicht etwas Pinie, erst süß dann bitter, verhältnismäßig süffig, schmeckt.

355ml can from Home Bargains. Pours clear gold with a white cap. Quite an old school aroma & taste - malt, grapefruit & pine to the fore. Light to moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. Nice!

355ml can. Opalescent, pale amber colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Slightly piney and citrusy fruity, minimally floral, hoppy and pale as well as slightly caramel malty aroma, notes of pine, hints of pineapple and lemon. Taste is moderately bitter, piney, minimally fruity hoppy, hints of pineapple, a touch of lemon, pale and caramel malty basis with low residual sweetness, minimally floral overtones. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Simple, drinkable, not many Citra characteristics detectable - OK.

Can from Home Bargains, Inverurie. It pour sclear orangey - amber with a decent frothy white cap. The aroma is sweet, tangy, zingy citrus, candied lemon, grapefruit, lemonade, dull toffee, biscuit and bread. The taste is crisp and dry upfront, some greenish bitterness, bitterness lingers, touch of pine, pithy, zesty, lemonade, grapefruit, pomello, touch of toffee, bread and biscuit. Finish is zesty. Average body and moderate carbonation. A failry standard style US citra pale. Not a hige amout to it, but it drinks real easy.

15th March 2023, mini-regional tasting with minutemat at my place. Cheers Mat for this 12floz can. Citra hops again doing their thing, citrus aroma and taste in a clear golden beer, pleasant enough, but I am getting bored with lemon and grapefruit flavours to be honest, every other beer seems to be brewed with Citra hops, where are they all coming from?

355ml can shared with blackhaddock in his beer cave. Clear gold with a fair white head atop. Juicy pine and grapefruit seems to be the order of the day here, both aroma and taste-wise. Citra singing loud and proud, but comes across like an early-days craft IPA. Not that that's a bad thing.

Pint at Sagebrush BBQ in Grand Lake. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, beige head. The nose is juniper, grapefruit peel, tangerine, caraway, and toast. Sweet and malty, with a big, abrasive bitterness. Crisp, sticky, and hard. Solid.
