720ML bottled Jan 2023, drunk 7/7 and 7/15/23.
Clear.
Melon, sweet, clean, assertive acidity in support. Does have some alcohol to it, though - a bit too much.
Clean, nutty, fantastically full of mineral and excellent acidity. Deep ricey texture. Great balance. Lingering pepper and delicately sweet rice.

Drank cold. The color has a slight hint of yellow. The olfactory intensity is high, and the olfactory persistence is sufficient. The taste on the nose - the dominant aroma is malted rice Koji. The taste on the nose - secondary aromas find vanilla, white peach, banana and pineapple. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of powerful sake. The aroma on the tongue is very dry. The body is structured. The taste intensity is high, and the taste persistence is good. On the palate the aftertaste is intense. The taste is pleasant. The final mouth sensations are ready to drink. The finish is of a dry and complex taste. The roof of the mouth recognizes notes of malted rice Koji, vanilla, melon, gin, pineapple, anise, pepper and soy.

Sampled at Astor Wines. Stemmy wine glass. Pretty Japanese girls in white robes.

Clear. with just barely a yellow tint to it.

Scent is a touch sharp, hot, & fruity, with more pineapple then banana or apple.

Flavor is more of a mixed bag. Apple acidity, light on the pineapple. Just a twinge of green bitterness. Starchy, boozy finish.

This one was pretty popular with the tasting group. No comprende.
