Bottle @ Joes shared by Countbeer. Opaque black color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor both have malts, coffee lightly, bourbon / liquor, some raspberries. Decent body and carbonation. Bit too firm on the raspberries in the end.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the SAVOR Week 4 Hands / Against The Grain tap takeover. Black with tan head. Aromas of big roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, toasty notes. Tastes of dark chocolate, light licorice, roasty notes, coffee, dark fruit. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Berries are pretty subtle. Still quite tasty though!

Sampled at Churchkey pours a murky black with a ring of beige head. Nose has an interesting mix of raspberry and nail polish, chocolate and molasses, malt, licorice, brown sugar, some medicine. Flavor is solid if not a bit boozy, jammy, chocolate, molasses, a bit chewy, some cherry, some vanilla, a little astringent booze. Full bodied, maybe a bit hot/young.

Very nice stuff. Love the way this comes together. Elements are well balanced here. Great raspberry infusion with roast and chocolate. Like chocolate covered raspberries. Bittersweet finish with hint of sourness. Tap at Churchkey thanks to Travlr/radagast.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is rather fruity with quite a bit of raspberry. Moderate dark chocolate notes with some light roast and bourbon. Faint oak, but the raspberry really dominates the aroma like a raspberry truffle. Pours black with a thick, light mocha head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges where it lingers for quite a while. Medium light lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with a large chocolate note and some lighter roast. Medium raspberry character, lighter than in the aroma. Light bourbon notes and faint oak. As it warms the raspberry and bourbon comes out more. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a sweet and decadent stout. Lots of chocolate and raspberry with light roast and bourbon notes to add some complexity.
