12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark amber / mahogany with a small tan head. Nose is quite tart, with very sour cherries, some acidity and bourbon barrels -- it's always a strange combo with sour ale and bourbon barrels. Flavour is strange as well, with citric tart fruits, some bourbon barrels and highly acidic cherries. Not exactly clean, but it's pretty interesting... certainly unique. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some sweet but tart cherries, sweet grains, bourbon and a bit of butterscotch. Flavor has sour cherry notes with a bit of oak, some bourbon and a bread backbone.

This beer pours a dark copper-brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, cherries and citrus. Medium to full body with flavors of tart red cherries, oaky bourbon, citrus and malt. The finish is reminiscent of the Manhattan, so mission accomplished there. Good beer all around.

Pours deep mahogany into a tulip. Off-white head with good retention recedes to mottle surface leaving trailing sheets. Saltwater, cherry and vanilla aromas. Tart with oak and cherry upfront turning to sweet bourbon and cherry pit in the lasting finish.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is lactic, wood, cherries, vanilla, balsamic vinegar, citrus powder drink, raisins. Pours cloudy amber with a dissipating beige head that falls into a collar; laces a little. Taste is tongue-melting sour (10/10 on a sour scale), bourbon (not overbearing), cherries (both pits and flesh). Carbonation is tight, body medium-full. Top tier sour.
