1991 Gold Medal Winner at GABF. Bitter is a traditional English pub draught. Extra Special defines a stronger maltier version. Our bitter is brewed using generous amounts of malt and kettle hops. This leaves the dinker with a hop aftertaste balanced with the sweetness of the malt.

Tap at Broad Ripple. Unfiltered red-copper body. Creamy cask head. Leans into the amber malt and ringwood yeast. Nice cask mouthfeel, but a lackluster effort overall. Old school, just tolerable.

tap at the brewpub - Pours a dark copper color with a lingering head. It has a good caramel malt aroma and flavor with well balanced citrus accented hops. It’s medium bodied and has a nice, bitter finish.
