Working in collaboration with Brewery Vivant, we created this complex saison to have a distinct cherry flavor that’s balanced by a dry bitterness and finishes with notes of orange peel and lemon zest. “Bon Vivant” which in French means “one who lives well” pays homage to the people who enjoy the good things in life, especially food and drink.

Rattle n hum, NYC tap: pours golden with a whote head. Aroma is berries, herbs, and bitter citrus. Taste is cherry and herbal. It aint bad and it be pretty smooth but it aint outstanding.

On tap at Seven Monks in Traverse City. Pours a clear lighter golden with a white head. Yeasty candied aroma, apple. Yeasty bubble gum flavor, green apple, honey and herbal. Pretty tasty. A solid saison.

Keg at Pony Bar UES - NYC. Pours clear gold with s creany, white head. The aroma has some slightly muddled wheat bread, nips of berry, white grape, citrus. Medium sweet flavor with lightly bitter hay, grains, doughy wheat, lemon peel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet in the finish with further doughy wheat, white bread, ripening citrus, straw, grain. Perfectly drinkable but nothing really sets this apart.

Draft at the source. Crystal clear bright golden yellow color. Aroma of fresh hay and straw. Taste is lightly funky peppery hay. Very nice.
