Jasper, une DIPA iconique de Fidens Brewing, aura droit à son tout premier Jasper Week très prochainement. Pour l’occasion, nous avons eu l’honneur de brasser notre version chez nous, en collaboration avec nos amis d’Albany.
Une bière qui laisse exploser le Citra à chaque gorgée comme nulle autre. Elle prouve que la simplicité bien exécutée est le parfait départ à notre nouvelle année

English:
Powerful aromatic intensity with a tropical dominance reminiscent of mango and pineapple, complemented by pine needles, resin, and citrus zest.
Yellow in color and very opaque, the liquid is topped with a moderately thick, creamy, and persistent foam.
Citra bursts on the palate with deep, dominant mango accents, a touch of grapefruit, and a confident papaya character.
The zest-like bitterness is much less intense than in some examples, which is certainly not a drawback for me.
The bitterness is delicate, far less intense than the resinous notes on the nose would have suggested.
The finish is soft, slightly sweet, and very subtly warm with alcohol.
Highly appreciated for its smoothness and complexity.

Intensité aromatique puissante avec une domination tropicale aux allures de mangue et d’ananas, assortie d’aiguilles pin et de résine ainsi que de zeste d’agrumes.
De couleur jaune et très opaque le liquide se couvre d’une mousse moyennement épaisse, crémeuse et persistante.
Le Citra explose en bouche avec ses accents de mangue profonds et dominants, son léger pamplemousse, sa papaye assumée.
L’amertume de zeste est beaucoup moins intense que dans certains exemples, ce qui n’est pas pour me déplaire.
L’amertume est délicate, beaucoup moins intense que ne le laissait présager la résine présente en olfactif.
La finale est douce, légèrement sucrée et très discrètement chaleureuse en alcool.
Beaucoup appréciée pour sa douceur et sa complexité.

Hazy bright yellow with a one finger tall white frothy head of medium retention. Orange, herbs, floral notes, tropical fruits, white grapes, pale malt. Warming. Light hop burn. Pretty dry. Dense. Appropriate carbonation. Medium hop bitterness. Good.

Canned 473ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb, shared with Marko. Murky orange coloured, medium sized off-white head, citrusy and mild fruity nose. Citrusy, fruity, notes of grapefruit and touch of alcohol with dry sweetish finish.

Can with Ogi at Ambasada. Murky full yellow body, off-white head. Creamy peachy and citrusy full, bit malty but clean aroma, bit of melon. Juicy, creamy taste, resin, citric, melony taste. Not bad, not particularly enticing.

Messorem beer #50 - Nice juicy fruity aroma and taste with fleshy peach and citrusy tangerine and grapefruit, citrus peel, nice touch of hop spice bite, soft sweet malty backbone with a balanced bitter hoppy finish. Very nice.
