Earthy, umami rich, super dry sake. A genshu (undiluted) yet surprisingly mild for its alcohol content. Aroma of lychee and rice bran. Sweet nutty almond milk on the palate with a cleansing dry finish. Staff favourite.

If you like it hot like Marilyn don't be afraid to warm a tokkuri or two of this iconic sake. You will be rewarded with a rounder, sweeter flavour profile.

300ml bottle from Sake Shop, Stanmore. Yellow gold colour, no head and aroma of unami, rice. Taste is sweetish, rice, unami, earthy, and booze. Medium bodied, low carbonation, warm boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.
