Undated can from tfontana, drunk 5/27/26. Thanks, Tom!
Oh wow, interesting. Very fruity and easygoing. I get neither toast, caramel nor C hop that I'd expect from an American brown. Maybe some very light toffee on the end, but mostly just a huge yeast-like fruitiness.
Definitely not malt-forward, as they claim, and it's very dry, watery, fruity again, but this time with some roasted character and light pine and grapefruit. The roast/toast/C hop kind of wears on you, as the base malt isn't deep enough to accommodate it. That said, these guys are brand new, and once they (hopefully) work out the kinks of their brewery, they should be putting out some great beers, as these first offerings show lots of promise.

Can from the brewery. Clear, maple-syrup brown, tons of sparkle, decent head with fair retention, trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted, slightly earthy, malt, hint of coffee. Nuttiness emerges as it warms. Taste is strong roasted malt, hint of coffee. Similar to aroma, nuttiness emerges as it warms. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste with mild lingering bitterness.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you. Aroma soft cocoa, mild toffee, nuts. Flavor has the mild cocoa, coffee-ish malt finish. Medium body and balanced. Very drinkable for the style.

Soft toasted malt character, mellow earth, toasted crackers, nips of milk chocolate, dry caramel. Easygoing.
