The aroma is dark roasted malt, burnt toast, charred pine, green, herbal, dank, rich chocolate, toffee, salted caramel, umami, liquorice and fragrant angelica root. The taste is rather smooth upfront, bitter - sweet, deep roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruits and berries, crunchy ripe cherry, plum pudding, black forest gateaux, sachet torte, jammy, pleasantly warming alcohol and smooth, toasty finish. Medium+ body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Flavourful and very well rounded. Drinks very easy for 9%.
