Bottle @ Johns. Pours black with a small brown brown, lacings. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, cake, vanilla, coconut, light wood. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate, coconut, light dark fruit, wood, alcohol, light cognac. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 230416

200 ml. draft glass @ Gollem. Black, small mocha dark head. Greatest smell ever pretty much, I sweat this beer is the gateway drug to cocaine, the whole table just spend smelling this beer for like 2 hours, if this tasted like it smells, this would be pretty much the greatest beer. Smells like condensed milk, vanilla ice cream, butterscotch, caramel, sugar, pecan, vanilla, cinnamon, cakes, mocha, toffee, candy, massively so, you can smell this from the other side of the table, dear lord. Taste is great but almost disappoints after the smell, roasted actually, bitter roasted espresso, roasted malts, coffee, butterscotch & pecan are there but way more in the back, some bitter dry plastic faintly peated, roasted plastic finish presumably from the Islay which is more interesting than a great addition here, light vanilla, body finishes very dry and roasted plastic. Good, very interesting, that smell, I sort of need to try the other versions now. This deserves an 11 for smell, outside all categories.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Black with a dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, pecan and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol and a hint of peat. Oily, smooth and soft. 220416

Tap at Gollem. Pours black. Good grey head. Smell is superintense. Very roasty, popcorn . taste is popcorn, roasted malts, vanilla oce cream ( yah , really ! ) cognac, oak, some whiskey ( more hidden ) fairly bitter. Very Nice , damn intense, and a very Nice mf ! Awesomesauce !

Tap@ HBF 2016. Thanks Vastactiv! Near black, thick brown head. Chocolate, pudding, fresh stuff. Awesome. Flavor has sweetness, caramel, chocolate, dark chocolate. roastedness.This is just amazing. Not many traces of the barrel here though. Dessert beer deluxe.

Tap at Omnipollos Hatt. Pitch black with slight tan head. Heavily sweet, vanilla chocolate topped up with booze, soy and ash. No balance between the sweet chocolatey and the boozy, whisky notes whatsoever.

On tap at Omnipollos Hatt. Black with a small tan head. Sweet aroma of chocolate sauce, nuts, vanilla, some ash and cognac. Similar taste. The body was full and the carbonation soft. Drinkable but very sweet and a bit unbalanced.
