330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours deep brown with tan topping. Aroma of soft malts, pine hops. Taste continues smooth on the palate, soft caramel, a touch woody with nice grapefruit / pine shades. Decent and sessionable.

Amber color with a fine off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a smooth carbonation level. Tad sweet and a nice bitterness. Flavor last a long time. Bready, toffee, fruity, pine and grapefruit hoppy flavor.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Deep amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, a bit of toast, slightly stale hops. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, toasty note, and bitterish citric and piney hops. Medium-bodied.

Dyp mørk rødbrun farge med høyt lys beige skum. Lukter humle, grape og karamell. Litt oljete i munnfølelse. Kjenner alkoholen godt. Karamell, grape og bitter avslutning. Sitter i lenge.

0.33l bottle from #35. This is one of those deep dark ruby colored ones, as good as clear in the glass and with a nice big lasting and quite lacing mild beige head. On the nose there's tones of fresh red berries, lots of floral nose-inhalable hops, a little light caramel sweetness, mild green yeast and pine cones. Smells quite good and inviting this. Tastes pretty good also. Really piney and resinous. Almost a little wood birch due to the relatively high bitterness level. A little above average on the carbonation this and it's mild oily on mouth texture. Sharp, almost a little pepperminty and toothpasty. There's also a nice caramel darkness/burnt bready darkness here in the lingering bitter and definitely drymouthing tail. Quite a good one! 03.04.2015

330 ml bottle, batch #132, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%, IBU 71. Malts are pale, pale crystal, dark crystal, Carafa Special 3. Hops are Horizon, Amarillo and Citra. Hazy dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of piney hops, some malts too. The flavour is distinctly hoppy, with piney and grapefruity notes, balanced by decent malts.
