Draught @ All In Beer Fest. Pours hazy pale golden with a small frothy white head that leaves some spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals, lemon grass and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, grassy and fruity. Mouthfeel is is dry, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, unripe mango, freshly cut grass, pine needles, hay, minerals and lemon zest. Really solid grassy WIPA.

Sample at All In Beer Fest. Light yellow with thin white head. Floral, citrus aroma and taste with bready notes. Quite clean and crisp.

Keg at the brewery during RBWG ’15, 20/02/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is melon, citric pith, straw, bitter lemon, light bread. Taste comprises orange pith, straw, lemon rind, light herbal notes, soft bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spattering of hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.

5oz draft @ Angry Chair. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre un très bon bouquet agrumes, rétro moyen malt pils et pâle. Les fragrances des houblons sont persistantes apportant leur lot de fruité surtout d’agrumes et fin citronné/fleuri. Palais est léger pointe de malts pâle et cara, houblonné avec pas mal d’agrumes, fleuri, sec et grains sur la fin, Impression de Cascade et Simcoe pour une amertume fraîche.

Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2015. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Pretty sweet, with floral hops, biscuity pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Good balance on the finish, some pale bread, more citrus notes. Very drinkable.

Draft. Pours lemon gold white head. Nose/taste of citrus, cracker and wheat malt, banana and lemon. Medium body.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a crystal clear deep gold body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up floral hops, some spicy hop dankness and a faint malt sweetened citrus to cantaloupe fruitiness. The taste starts with smooth malts quickly giving way to bitter citrus to bitter floral and dank spicy onion like hoppiness. The malt softened bright bitter hoppiness lingers well into the after taste. Tasty hoppy brew that is more bitter forward but drags along enough body and malty sweetness to create a pleasing balance.

Draft at the source during RBWG 2015. Hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of floral citrus. Taste is similar. Decent. Perfect name for the area.
