Draft: Poured a brown with an off white head. Aroma is hoppy and malt. Nice hops mouth rolls into that malt backbone that makes this a nice drinking black IPA.

Keg at the brewery druing RBWG Booze Buseday 20/02/15. Dark chestnut brown topped with a moderately sized beige swirl. Nose is light pine, bitter citric rinds, mellow fruit, straw, earthy. Taste comprises bitter tropical fruit, light red berry notes, earthy hop, straw, spice, roasted notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average CDA.

Draft at Green Bench during the RBWG 2015 bus tour. Clear dark amber with off-white head. Aromas of floral, caramel. Tastes of floral, caramel, malt. Medium body with a dry finish. Probably couldn’t tell you this was a black IPA if I had it without knowing what style it was.

Draft. Pours dark brown white head. Nose/taste of coffee, light pine and chocolate. Lighter bodied.

Draft - floral notes and roast. Dark clear brown with a decent beige head. Floral hops and Dark malts with some nice bitterness. Nice and aromatic, but roast is lacking. Still nice though.

Clear brown with a medium sized beige head, some lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and citrus. Flavors of citrus and pine

Growler on the bus during RBWG 2015 in Tampa. Clear amber color?? Aroma has light fruit and cocoa. Taste has moderate roasty chocolate.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is bready malt and toast. Medium mouthfeel with toasty malt, light hop bite, lingering bitterness, good.

Draft at the brewery during RBWG 2015. Pours clear, deep amber with a foamy off-white head. Piney hops on the nose, some bread, ripening fruits. Medium sweet flavor with resinous hops, ripe orange, sticky pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sticky resinous finish, some toasted bread, ripe orange. Very tasty.

Tap. Pours clear chestnut, more of a brown IPA. Small tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, roast and pine. Flavor is light sweet, medium plus bitter, pine resin, harsh bitterness, some roast. Lightish body, watery.
