Tap at Rapp. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is smoke, medicinal, TCP, earth and a touch of sweetness. The taste is smooth, tart, lemon, light smoke, ham, sour peach, apricot and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Balance is spot on. Really well done. Yum.

A hazed golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice smokey and peaty wheat malt , lactic notes, superb. In mouth, a nice lactic malt, gose-like, with smooth peated smokyness, very good. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 8 2012.

Growler @ Crooked Stave Reserve Society bottle share. Thanks to Armin / arminjewell for sharing. Pours a golden yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat smoky, kind of woody, tart lemon, light lactic aroma. Pretty strange flavor- woody smoky, herbal, tangy lemon, fairly tart lactic taste. Interesting to try.

Sampled from a growler at the Cajun Cafe Fall Fest. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. ARoma has earthy grains with a hint of light tart fruit and a bit of smoke. Flavor has a nice tart wheat and light fruit with some smoke coming through in the finish.
