Draft @ Coppertail.

A dark brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light fruity notes, light berries, light mineral notes, very nice. In mouth, a sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, grassy character, light coffee grind, light berries, nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

Draft at Coppertail. Aroma has a nice amount of roasted malts, chocolate and ash. The body is real nice with a fullness that is along the lines of a stout. Dirty, ashy and lingering roast.

750mL bottle from Lueken’s pours with a nice dark mahogany body that supports a full nearly tight mocha colored head. The aroma offers up chocolate, a mineral sensation and then thin rivers of malt balls, earthiness and a dash of black licorice. The taste begins smooth with a pleasing degree of chocolate backed by a bit of chicory and then a mineral note as well as earthiness and an echo of dark roasted malts. It ends with soft chocolate, mild sweetness, faint roasted malts and a hint of minerals. Nice stuff. Time to start homering these guys. Keep up the great work.

Bottle during RBWG, pours a very dark brown with small tan head. The aroma is roast, chocolate, and wood. Thick mouthfeel with strong roast, chocolate, light dryness, very good.
