A second link-up with Bas-Canada, following Relation from FORMS last November, is a full-throttle DDH IPA showcasing a quartet of NZ heavyweights. Nelson imbues vinous aromatics and Nectaron brings juicy peach, nectarine and pineapple sweetness, which Motueka and Riwaka cut through with fresh lime acidity and passionfruit tang.

440ml can. Murky golden with a white head. Aroma of candied peach, passionfruit and a bit vinous. Taste of peach, passionfruit, much more vinous than the aroma suggested, with gooseberry, grape, citrus zest, dank, pine, drying finish - not as sweet as anticipated from the aroma. Medium bodied.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Hops bring cooling pine, a little hop spice, soft savoury skunk and, a pleasing hop fruit array, stone fruits, Riwaka exotics and a little citrus. More tingly hop spice on the back end. Nicely done.
