Beer Lab for December 2025 is a series of beers brewed for cold Winter nights. These beers are just as suited for festive celebrations as for sipping by the fire. Candy Moon is an imperial stout with vanilla beans, almond & rose water. The result is rich & indulgent, with a delicate floral overtone that adds some balance to the richer flavours.

Tap at Mikkeller Stefansgade. Dark. Almond, marzipan, vanilla, hazelnut. Sparkly, light, marzipan, some licorice, nuts. Good sipping beer.

Tap in MK Stefansgade. Black with a brown cream ring. Fullbodied praline, coffee, dry cocoa, restrained sweetness, flowers, , rum, nice deep cocoa, with staying power, vanilla, marzipan, a hint dry licorice in the finish. . Good balance, quite sippable.

On tap. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of vanilla, almonds and slick toasted malts. Flavors of creamy almonds, vanilla, sweet dark fruit and oily roasted malts. Beauty.
