Bottle, thanks Fin! Golden, slightly murky. Straw, hay, sweetness, tad lightstruck. Front heavy, flat, soapy, sweet. Not sure it is supposed to be this way.

Bottle, thanks Fin! Cloudy straw, white lace. Grainy, light fruity-soapy aroma. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Sweet base, straw, light fruit basket, a bit wonky balance.

Had this on tap at Furtnerbrau, Freising about 6-7 weeks ago and again today (bottle) I think that I picked these up in Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg. Monday 26th January 2026, after a weekend away with Nick and Anna, Charlie, Sarah, Ryan and Honey in Berlin. Pours hazy yellow/gold with a large white head, clearly unfiltered, it's a bio product. Interestingly I found the draft version in Furtnerbrau Freising to be a little more rustic with a little nod to a barnyard, this seems not quite the same, though the aroma has a slight rustic edge. Nice mouthfeel, soft, decent carbonation, though this does drop off a little. Easy drinking a little bit of a herbal touch, hint of mint otherwise most of the Helles qualities are there, slight sweetness, hoppiness and bitterness both subtle. Not bad at all. Score 6.8
