Bottled. Dark pour, mostly cocoa powder type aroma. Thin consistency. Reminds me of pie crust.

Bottle. Deep dark chocolate brown with a light brown icing head. Aroma was chocolate and the taste was...well....chocolate birthday cake.

Tastes like chocolate cake. Not in a bad way, just a slight shock when you expect shiner. It's good

A very dark brown coloured brew, 1 fingered head of tannish foam.

Strong nose of dark bitter chocolate with some milk chocolate and cocoa sweetness coming through as well.

The taste? A very satisfying Chocolate Stout. Bitter, sweet, basic and good. Good mouthfeel too. I like. --- Beer merged from original tick of Birthday Beer 106 on 18 Mar 2015 at 14:21 - Score: 8. Original review text: Mm..delicious. Bittersweet chocolate/cocoa.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Black appearance with a big dark brown head. The aroma is salted caramel, rich chocolate, and heavily sweet. Medium body. High sweetness. Low bitterness. Tastes like cake batter, overly sweetened chocolate, and vanilla frosting. Too sweet for my taste.

12 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Dark brownish black with beige to light tan head. Aromas of cocoa, milk chocolate, chocolate syrup, milk, caramel. Tastes of cocoa, chocolate, light caramel, sweet milk. Light body with a dry finish. Just slightly medicinal on the finish. Pretty rich and flavorful for a 5% stout.
