Bottle from Midtown. Pours a clearish gold with a full 2 fingers of champagne-like foam that lingers. Big ginger root aromas with some grass, hay and light lemon notes as it warms. Spicy ginger burn on the palate, more hay and grass. Clean and crisp, enjoyable with food. Lingering ginger tingle on the finish.

75cl bottle shared with Sophie and my father-in-law in Eecke. Pours a misty gold, small white head. Aroma has some prominent ginger and spice. Taste sees the ginger working nicely with the prickly gueuze funk, and thankfully not overpowering. Nicely balanced, really liked this.

Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish, soda powder, sour grass, wet hay, dusty ginger, weeds, minerals, oak, old rope, old citrus peel, bark, citrus acid. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, soda powder, sorrel, oak, old rope, ginger, fruit salt, grass, hay, minerals, citrus acid. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle shared with Franco. Clearish golden color big fluffy head. Ginger in the aroma, but still the dusty and musty nature comes through. Taste has more ginger but still hefty funk and even fruit. Seems to be a geuze rather than a fruit lambic though as it's not a lambic and ginger is not a fruit.

Bottle into a wineglass showing moderately filtered deep gold with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of sharp spicy ginger. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Very mild tartness with moderately intense notes of ginger followed by more ginger on the finish.
