Brasserie du Bas-Canada X 5e Baron - Pale Ale aux houblons Eggers Special & Maui Nelson Hop Kief - 5,7%
—

473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Juicy, fruity, hoppy aroma, wheaty and oaty malty background, notes of yellow stone fruit, some tropical fruity and citrusy fruity aspects, mango, lemon. Taste is mildly bitter and tart-ish, citrusy fruity and slightly tropical fruity hoppy, wheaty and oaty malty basis with low residual sweetness, notes of lemon, lemon peel, lemon juice, slightly diluted hints of yellow stone fruit, a touch of mango, some fruit acid, some zesty bitterness; lingering, bitter hoppy and minimally mineral finish.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Immensely hoppy, highly drinkable, very refreshing - nailing.

A hazed milky yellow ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous piney hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light tropical fruits, light citrus, very nice. On tap at Hautes Plaines location.

Hazy, golden colour with a white frothy head, good stay and foamy lacing streaks. Big sesame seed aromas with a touch of white wine grape, some yeast and some blending citrus. Melon (honeydew) flavours with stone fruits, tropical notes and light citrus. A juicy mouthfeel with decent dryness in the end. Quite an interesting NEPA that has a lot to offer, with a nose that is not what the taste is.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some dry tropical fruit notes and a semi-dry finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with dry tropical fruit notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEPA with a nice balance of flavours.
