Bottle picked up at 3F a couple of months ago. Hazed ginger gold. Soppy white foam has some legs. Looks good. I love when a beer is so distinctive. This could only be a 3F beer. Literally smells like being sat in the Droom. Big on the oak. Sweet cognac. Some bright tart grain. Light leathery notes. Tons of fruit and funk overall. Taste is juicy tart and light bitter. Hugely drinkable. Juicy finish with the cognac barrel showing later on. Class.

Perfumey bretty, herbal, floral aroma, apple flesh, much more sharp non-aerated. Smooth, sweetish, citrix, peachy, herbal, bitterish, sourish, low wood. Quite engaging, some warmth by the finish. Not sure I don't like Akevitt more, but this one is somehow mote lambicish.

Thin bod, med carbo. Lots of funk, horsey, barny. Subtle cognac and wood, present, but only in a light complementary way. Finishes on a grassy flowery note, fresh feeling. Very good.

Bottle, directly from brewery webshop. Color: Lightly hazy golden, dense white head. Aroma: Fruity grape, rural funk notes. Taste: Fruity grape, some gooseberry, hints of Cognac, vinuous notes, moderate tart, light sweetness, oak notes, some tannins. Smooth. Medium body, below average carbonation. Well done.
