Keg from The Other Place. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain and cereal. The flavour is clean and moreish with a hint of boiled vegetables. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Nice fizz. Very refreshing and and drinkable.

Bottle from Tesco
Appearance Very light straw...clear...frothy white head..some lacing
Aroma Light - grassy hops...hint of herbal hop..light straw malt
Taste Light bitter grassy hops...background of light sweet pale malt...simple beer but flavour reasonably good
Palate soft carb...thin body. Finish - same as main flavour, light bitter, bit of a zing on the palate.
Overall OK blond ale, nothing wrong with it but rather plain. More of a lager-golden ale hybrid. Better from the bottle, forget it on keg.

50cl Bottle. Pours golden with gentle carbonation and some nice lace. The nose has some gentle oatmeal and subtle flower aromas. The taste is sweet porridge. The palate is medium in structure, has a persistent texture and it has a palate-cleansing finish. Overall, while this doesn’t blow you away, it’s a beer I love on draught and bottle and have been known to sink several

At GBBF 2009. Gold, lasting, bubbly white head. Bit of butter, bit of hop, bit of emptiness where malt should be. Poor.

50cl Bottle at home, ABV 5%, brought from Scotland. Thanks mom&Henk! One more UK beer before I start with the RBESG Sheffield rates. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of light bready malts, hay, dust, bit sweet and light floral notes. Flavour is light malty and dusty, bit sweet and floral, light bitter dusty dry finish. Medium bodied. OK stuff.
