Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a slightly hazy, muddy brown with a finger of beige foam. Huge gingerbread nose with some light caramel malt. Clean and feels light for the abv. Bit of clove, vanilla and more ginger. Some heat on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Christmas Ale on 09 Dec 2016 at 00:28 - Score: 7. Can from the Craft Beer Advent Calendar
Mahogany color, small head. Spicy like a Christmas fruit cake, sweet, caramelly, and fairly boozy.
Meh.

Can - Sweet Christmas spice notes. Deep Amber with a decent light brown head. Sweet caramel and spice, not as extreme as the nose but still significant. A bit too much spice for my taste.

12 oz. can, pours a deep dark amber / mahogany with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of cinnamon and nutmeg upfront, with secondary notes of ginger and cardamom. Flavour is dominated by the spices, with notes of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Finishes with a slightly syrupy sweetness. Okay for what it is, just not my thing.

A good portion of gingerbread, cinnamon, other holiday inspired spice. Sweet malty profile to back it all up. Medium bodied. Decent.

Can, thanks to NeoHippie2. Faintly cloudy dark brown with a reddish tint, small foamy beige head, roasted malt aroma, high carbonation, slightly bitter roasted malt taste with nutmeg and ginger in the background, long spicy finish. Quite nice, thanks for the chance Ray!

355ml can from Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Pours a hazy, red brown with a small, short lived, tan head that leaves spotty lacing. Spicy aroma of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Sweet and spicy flavour of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove and caramel malt with a dry, warming finish. Medium body with a slick, oily texture and soft carbonation. 9% ABV is well hidden. Well done.

Can thanks to Alex! Pours hazy reddish chestnut, small beige head, some lacing. Aroma is quite spiced, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, some dark fruits. Flavor is fully sweet and light bitter; kind of a spiced dubbel, a bit of Belgian yeast spice, dried dark fruits like raisins, and lots of holiday spices, with nutmeg taking a prominent position. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, some ABV warming. Too spiced for my personal taste, but solid otherwise.
