A strong, dark lager with layered malt complexity: toffee, dark bread, raisin-like dried fruit, and soft cocoa. The lager profile keeps the palate clean despite the depth, finishing structured and slightly dry rather than syrupy. Medium body and a long, smooth malt finish with a slight roast.

That's a rich one. Sweet and liquorice aroma that goes onto the taste. Ok, but a bit too much for me.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A really dark amber coloured pour with a thick tan head; aroma of raisins; rich malty body with dried fruit and a syrupy consistency; then a touch of spice and a chocolate taste to finish. A pleasant sipping beer.

330ml can via Beer52. Poured into my Gordon thistle shaped glass at home on 6th March 2026. Beer number 7 in my 'round the world' tasting session with myself and no one else. Clean dark cola brown, beige wisp and collar on top. Fruity nose, candid berry's and hedgerow fruits. Taste is on the sweet side with malty molasses leading the flavours. Soft feel overall, pleasant and easy to drink.
